Here you’ll find a set of in-depth self-paced sessions to deep dive into Flatcar!
The sessions aim to be fun and useful. If you feel there’s room for improvement, please do provide feedback (and / or consider filing a PR!). We also continuously improve sessions and extend the series; check back regularly.
- Basic Operation and Local Testing starts from scratch and will set you up with a local test environment to play around with Flatcar. No prerequisite knowledge required.
- Advanced Provisioning Configuration continues where the first session ended. We dive into more complex deployments and ways to better manage your node configurations.
- Managing and Encrypting Storage discusses adding additional storage for applications and how to keep your data secure at rest, through encryption.
- Immutable OS, Boot Process, In‐Place Updates, Automating Rollback, and Release Channels will dive deep into immutability specifics of Flatcar and how this can help you to make your OS operations safe and secure. In this low-level session we will cover OS partition immutability, boot specifics, in-place upgrades, and how users can automate rollbacks.
